Wellington, New Zealand — The Wellington Saints are proud to announce that Rangimarie Dougall-Mita will be leading the team in the upcoming BBNZ 3x3 basketball tournament set to take place in Invercargill this October. This marks a significant moment for the young talent, who has been integral to the Wellington Saints for the past three years.

 

Dougall-Mita, a local talent who honed his skills at St. Patrick's College Silverstream, has made a name for himself within the Saints with his exceptional skills and leadership qualities. His selection as the captain for this tournament is a testament to his dedication to the sport and his contribution to the team.

 

As a player, Dougall-Mita has consistently demonstrated his ability to excel under pressure and lead his teammates both on and off the court. His experience with the Wellington Saints has not only helped the team achieve remarkable success but has also contributed to the growth of basketball in the region, Rangimarie is no stranger to 3x3 having represented New Zealand in China at the 2017 under-18 3x3 World Cup.
