Saintsational Funds Raised 15 May 2017

The Wellington Saints have raised over $10,000 for Motor Neurone Disease with their combined crowd gold coin collection on the 5th May game night and uniform auction that closed today at 2pm.

The Wellington Saints wore a one off purple uniform on Friday 5th May in support of Motor Neurone Disease and Chairman Justin Toebes who has been suffering from the disease since December 2012.

Each player has individually signed his uniform that he played in and we are extremely grateful to the support from the bidders, we congratulate them on helping us achieve our goal of $10,000 and raising awareness!

Nick Mills CEO said, “It is fantastic to be able to do something to repay the clubs debt to Justin Toebes and help in some small way to raise funds for this horrific illness.”

With permission from the winning bidders we would like to present these to them at the last home game of the season this Friday 19th May 7pm at TSB Arena.
