The Wellington Saints have arguably their toughest test of the year when they host the 8-0 OceanaGold Nuggets tonight.
It will be a difficult proposition for the Saints who will be without shooting guard Andrew Warren, who will miss the game due to a one game stand down, after he was disqualified in their win over the James Blond Super City Rangers.
The Saints are the highest scoring team in the league (97.5), but are closely followed by the Nuggets who average 96.5 points per game.
Both teams are able to hold their opponents to low shooting percentages (Nuggets 37.5%, Saints 42.5%), so it will be interesting to see if the game will be a high or low scoring affair.
Match up of the game with be between point guards Lindsay Tait and Mark Dickel. Tait leads the league in assists, while Dickel is second.
Both players are key to their respective teams success
Dickel is a former Saints, palying for the franchise in 1997 and 2002.
Another former Saint, Brendon Polyblank will face his former team, whom he won a title with in 2003.
