The Pacific Jewellers Saints have made a wonderful start to the 2014 season winning three games in five days.
After a tough overtime win at home, the Saints travelled down south to play the Fico Finance Giants on Friday.
It was going to be a hard game, but led by Corey Webster (26 points), the Saints pulled away for the 84-74 win.
The next game would be just as difficult as they would now move down south to play the Canterbury Rams, who are back in the league after an extended break.
In front of a sell out crowd the Saints stepped up big, thanks to the back court of Corey Webster (29 points) and Lindsay Tait (20) to defeat the Rams 89-79.
Our next game will be at home against the defending champs the Southland Sharks, so we need great crowd to give all the support we can get to make amends for that semi final loss that they gave us last season.
