The Pacifc Jewellers Saints have defeated the Nelson Giants 81-77 in a top of the table clash.
Behind 32 points from the league leading scorer Corey Webster, the Saints won the fourth quarter by ten to seal to important win over Nelson who had only lost one game which Saints in Round One.
Giants Josh Pace had 20, as the team was in form winning their previous five games.
Shane Heal will sigh a relief that the Saints managed to rally back in the fourth period, but they still have alot to do for tomorrow when they travel down to Invercargill to play the Southland Sharks.
Sharks are the defending champs and will be fired up as they have had a slow start to the season with two wins and three losses.
