Jordan Ngatai

Biography

Porirua born, Jordan Ngatai, returns for his fith NBL season with the Cigna Saints, and has had great success with the franchise winning titles in 2014 and 2017.

Ngatai played a key role in the 2017 championship scoring 18 points and making four from four three pointers.

The 26 year old is currently a member of the Tall Blacks, and made is debut for the National side in 2013. 

After graduating from Mana College Ngatai attended Sierra Junior College, California for one year before transferring to BYU Hawaii for a further season.

Last season for the Saints, Ngatai, averaged nearly 14 points and six rebounds per game.

Ngatai can play both the shooting guard and small forward positions, is a a versatile defender able to mark most positions on the floor.

A left handed shooter, Ngatai is also very strong finisher with his right hand which makes him a tough cover for the opposing defender.
