A warm welcome back to Kenneth Tuffin

Kenneth Tuffin returns for the Wellington Saints 2023 season. Tuffin has spent the past three years with the Wellington Saints, winning the NZNBL championship in 2021.

“KT is all about the work. He is a consummate professional and makes everybody around him better.  He plays with a passion and intensity that will help drive our team forward”, says 2023 Head Coach Troy McLean.

Kenneth Tuffin, known as KT among his peers, always looks for the opportunity to set the bar high on and off the court, is a constant in our coaching in schools’ programs, and is a young man who will give it all to see the Saints once again capture the NZNBL trophy in 2023

“Wellington’s home for me, this is where I’m from, this is where I grew up and I’m super excited to be back with the Wellington Saints this year before I make the move over to the Philippines for the PBA draft later in the year",  Says KT, an exciting opportunity coming out of the 2023 NZNBL season for this St Pats Silverstream old boy. 

Before Tuffin declares himself for the PBA draft he knows this season is still upon us, he says:

“We definitely have unfinished business as a club and can’t wait for the squad to get together and get to work”

KT led the league in 2021 for 3-point percentage at 49.3% - will this champion reign again in 2023 and assist the Wellington Saints getting title number 13?
