Saints Shine in Dunedin, Down Nuggets 111–99

The Mills Albert Wellington Saints put together a dominant performance on Saturday night, claiming a 111–99 victory over the Night ‘n Day Otago Nuggets at the Edgar Centre. From the opening whistle to the final buzzer, the Saints held the lead and never let go, showcasing a high-powered offensive display and rock-solid composure on the road.

Point guard Shea Ili was electric, dropping 31 points along with 4 rebounds and 8 assists in a masterclass performance. Forward Hyrum Harris was equally impressive, stuffing the stat sheet with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists, as the Saints improved their form heading into a key stretch of the season.

The Saints’ up-tempo offense clicked early and often, keeping the Nuggets on the back foot throughout the contest. With Ili steering the ship and Harris owning the paint, the visitors consistently found ways to score while limiting Otago’s momentum swings.

Now with a statement win under their belts, the Saints turn their attention to a crucial homestand. They'll welcome the Nelson Giants to TSB Arena this Easter Monday, followed by a matchup against the Bay Hawks on Saturday, April 27th.

With two key games in front of the home crowd on the horizon, the Mills Albert Wellington Saints will look to carry their Dunedin momentum back to the capital.
