NZNBL Trade Window News

We wanted to utilize the NZNBL trade window to offer an opportunity to Josh Tutagalevao to get more court time and The Jets have accepted this trade to allow Josh to continue to grow as a basketball player. Josh has been a real spark plug for us and a great team mate within the wider squad to start our season, we know this opportunity will be great for Josh and we look forward to cheering him on in green with the Manawatu Jets.

With the trade we welcome Dov Silberstein to the squad, a Wellington local and 2023 NZ National Secondary School champion with team mate Troy Plumtree from Wellington College. Dov made the move to Feilding College this year for a new challenge as a sportsman. This trade allows us to open the door to Dov to return home to play for this local club in the future and sets us in good strides to build a string up and coming unit for future years.
