Championship winning Head Coach Craig Furlong passes

It is with great sadness that we wish to acknowledge the passing of former Saints member and Championship winning Coach Craig Furlong

An army man, Craig played for the Wellington Saints in 1983 (runners up) and 1984 (Championship) and coached 1985 (Championship) and 1986 (runners up). 

Craig Furlong lead the side and was a part of one of the most iconic moments in New Zealand basketball when Kenny Mcfadden made his infamous three point shot at Madgwick stadium up againts the legends Steve McKeans Auckland side.
