Changes to Round 9

Updates on Round 9:

Your Wellington Saints will now play the Nelson Giants on Wednesday June 30th at Trafalgar Centre due to the COVID-19 Alert Level change in the Capitol. 

Sunday's games will continue at TSB Arena with no crowd against the Hawks. 

"Whilst as dissapointing as this is for the club, our players, sponsors and fans, particulalrly after record breaking crowds this season and sell out games, safety must be put first and foremost". says CEO Jordan Mills. 

"With only 4 weeks left of the regular season, we didn't have a lot of wriggle room in terms of postponing the game as this would have been the preferable option. Unfortunately the only options meant that either team had to play 3-4 games in a weekend and with player welfare at the front of our minds, this is something we would not consider asking of the team". 

The game will still be live on SKY Sport 2 at 5pm on Sunday. 

"We hope everyone will still tune in and support the boys from home, we appreciate all the support and patience from our Saints fans while we work through this."

The club is currently working on whether tickets purchased can be made valid for our game on July 12th, if this game is not one you are able to attend, please contact Ticketmaster directly to arrange a refund.
