Dion Prewster makes the return back to the Wellington Saints!

Wellington College old boy Dion Prewster re-signs with the Wellington Saints for the 2020 season! 

This will make the 2020 season Prewster's 5th Season as a part of the Saints team with his last reign being in 2016 when the Saints won their 9th NZNBL Championship. With an impressive career over the past decade, the Saints team are very excited to be welcoming him back. 

The 2019 season saw him playing under new Head Coach Zico Coronel in Hawke's Bay, where they faced off against the Saints in the Finals. 

Coronel - "I am thrilled to continue working with Dion, as he was instrumental in rising the Hawks from the depths of the competition to contention in the last two years. Dion’s understanding of the game and decision making has gone to new levels. As Dion is a Wellington local, Saints’ fans know him well, I think you'll be thrilled to see his growth. In addition, Dion is an aspiring coach and I am confident his contribution to the community will be immense."
