Tom Vodanovich Re-Signs for 2023

A warm welcome back to Tall Black, current New Zealand Breaker and 2022 Saints player Tom Vodanovich.

Tom who is having a successful year with the NZ Breakers in the Australian NBL returns to the Saints for 2023 when we tip off against the Hawkes Bay Hawks at home on April 8th.

A local boy who completed his schooling at St Pat's Town returns to the capital with his eyes on winning the NZNBL trophy in 2023.

"Coming back to the Saints was an easy decision" says Tommy V. "The club, the great people in the office, in the locker room, and in the stands made last season so great. But, we have unfinished business. We are locked in and I'm excited to be back in the blue & white, and get back to the Saints winning ways!"

A player who has championships in his blood, winning the NZNBL trophy in 2018, as well as picking up the league MVP award in 2020 and the ANBL trophy lifted high with the Sydney Kings in 2022.

Head Coach Troy McLean had this to say on the return of Tom Vodanovich;

"Tommy V is a blue blood, blue collar, hard hat, construction bag to training sort of guy. A teammate who has got your back has a never say die attitude and mindset. I'm looking forward to watching him make an important impact again in our Wellington community and on the floor."

We look forward to the 2023 season having Tommy V locked in.
